Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.

This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. Round 5 complete

It was a treat to have a 10 minute drive home from the hospital this time! Ronan did a great job with Round 5. Thanks for the visits from Mrs. Colwell and company with Valentines from his class (the jokes were awesome!), a visit from Barb and Kayla Daigle, a visit from Mrs. Fisher - thanks for the goodies - the boys divided everything very quickly!, and Rachel and Ben who visit whether we are in SJ or Halifax!!
Also, thanks Hannah and family for the info on diet and cancer and to the anonymous giver of the gift certificate to Jeremiah's in the City Market. Who knew that was Ronan's favourite place to eat?
Ronan was happy to get his math tests too - really! I'm not kidding!
