Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.

This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. Malcolm's on YouTube!

This past Sunday while Ronan, Ali and grandmother Lydia went to see Gnomeo and Juliet, Malcolm and Joe headed off for a day of snowboarding at Poley Mountain. Malcolm, who turns 7 on February 24, has been snowboarding a couple of times on the bunny hill this year and on Sunday following a lesson, he headed up the mountain with Joe. This video, taken by Joe, shows how naturally snowboarding comes to Malcolm. The video is a hit on Joe’s Facebook page. I hope you enjoy it.

    Love it...Malcolm you certainly looked comfortable going down the big hill. Joe your taping was very impressive without bumping into anyone...maybe Malcolm gets some of his cool from you.
