Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.

This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. Almost Home!!

So... we are on an overnight pass in a hotel - we have a suite (very nice perk - the medicines have to be refridgerated and regular rooms don't have mini-fridges...)
If all goes well tonight we will get our OK to make the drive home tomorrow!! Ronan's White Blood counts are still good, so we should make it home in time for him to have a quiet week of rest and recovery!! Yeah home!!

    Hi everyone! This is Tina, Russell and Rita's daughter. I have 2 boys as well, Boyd and Keegan. We hope all goes well and we are glad to hear that Ronan's first trseatment is done.;)
    We keep trying to send a note and I keep doing something wrong on Mom's laptop and it keeps disappearing!!!! LOL. Mom and dad are keeping us up to date on Ronan's progress and he's one tough nugget.
