Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.

This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. Feelin' Goofy

Finally the boy is eating and he is silly!! :) We are having a good day.
Ronan had an appointment at the IWK this morning for a quick finger poke to make sure his blood levels were good to start treatment as planned. Everything looks good, so we check back in to 6 Link tomorrow morning - I'll let you know what room this time. And the mail found us today! 4 big bags of gifts for Ronan from Margie, Heather and Marcus Christ; Li-Hong and Miranda Lees; Val, Sue, Elizabeth and James Kyte; Liam, Ethan and Greta Rogers, Nick and Gabriel Comeau. Wow - you are all so thoughtful and kind. Thank you.

We miss you Malcolm!!

    Is he still eating Doritos??? It was so wonderful to talk with you today and to hear Ronan being so silly, you let him know I am still going to tickle him when I see him!! Malcolm was sweet after school today, he held my hand all the way home and let me kiss his sweet cheeks. He never ceases to amaze me with his sweetness.
