Ronan was moved from ICU to 7 Link at 1pm this afternoon. He is doing great - sore, but great. Malcolm and Jim are here until tomorrow afternoon...Malcolm was very excited to be able to see his big brother, his mom and dad. We missed you too!
And we had an unexpected delivery of balloons this afternoon from Matina, Colin and Walker. Thank you!! (The SpongeBob balloon is the favourite!)
Also, when we first arrived - I forgot to mention this - there was a package waiting for Ronan from Brazil!! Ronan impresses the nurses in many ways! When he saw the return address he said, "This is from Milton!" Thank you Milton (my dad's friend) for thinking of Ronan - we know you follow the blog - and the book about your country is beautiful!
Our boy is being showered with such love and support - incredible. Thank you.

Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.
This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. So welcome to Ronan’s blog. Sit, read, cry, and vow to fight this fight with Ronan, Malcolm, Ali and Joe. And please leave a few words of encouragement with a Comment.
