For those of you in Saint John there are 2 great musical events planned for this evening. If you’re able, please try to get out to one of these. And bring your friends! Both events are sure to offer great music, fun and friendship and all proceeds will go toward supporting Ronan and his family.
At Backstreet Records (124 Germain St) Christina Martin and Clinton Charlton are playing two intimate sets of music starting at 6:30pm - 9:30pm. All donations will go towards support of Ronan. For many Saint Johners Clinton Charlton is a familiar name on the music scene as a member of the Penny Blacks. For those unfamiliar with Christina, her album Two Hearts (2008), won her Pop Recording of the year at the 2009 East Coast Music Awards, as well as two Nova Scotia Music Awards for Female Artist of the Year and Pop Recording of the Year in 2008. Later, Rocking for Ronan is being held at "The Brick House" in downtown Saint John. There will be 2 stages, 5 locally know Classic rock and roll bands, and three soloists! The show starts at 9:00 and will continue until the Brick House closes at 2:00 am. Admission is only $10 at the door with every cent going directly to the family.

I only saw a bit of the Christina Martin/Clinton Charlton show as I had to rush back to the Brickhouse to get ready for Rockin' For Ronan, but what I did see was excellent!!
