Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.

This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. So far, so good!

Ronan is staying fever free! He had a finger poke on Monday morning to give us his counts...all very low except for his red blood cells (114 - higher than mine the last time I checked), which accounts for his energy and the colour in his cheeks! If he makes it through tomorrow without a fever, I think he'll be safe!

    HI Ronan...I was in NY this weekend and guess who I brushed up against by accident? The real actor who plays Dumbledore! The actors who play Lupin ,Mr. Weasley and Hagrid were also all with him. It was very weird to see them out of costume and just out on the street. We were going to see the Harry Potter Exhibition. They were there because it was the opening of the show in NY city. Love your pic...Barbara.
