Ronan loved being outside today - he had an hour this morning away from the skinny friend he is hooked up to and and hour this afternoon to go outside. He likes that!
Lydia (Ronan's grandma - there are 3 Lydia's we know!), Jim (Joe's brother), Angie (Jim's friend) and Hugh (my brother) arrived this afternoon in time to watch Ronan enjoy the sun. And they all received their flu shots before visiting!
Right now they are out having dinner together in Halifax - and managed to get Joe out with them - no small feat! He one amazing dad.

Ronan was born on June 13, 2001 in Edmonton to Joe and Ali. He is a big brother to Malcolm; grandson to Lydia, Teresa and Bob; nephew, cousin and friend to many. A 4th grader at Prince Charles School; musician; music lover; chess champion; Harry Potter fan; bananagram-er; card shark; board gamer, corny joke teller. And cancer fighter.
This blog is intended to ensure that Ronan’s vast support team of family and friends are connected, informed and engaged while he, dad Joe, mom Ali and brother Malcolm help him beat a terrible, scary disease - embryonal sarcoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. So welcome to Ronan’s blog. Sit, read, cry, and vow to fight this fight with Ronan, Malcolm, Ali and Joe. And please leave a few words of encouragement with a Comment.

Hi Ali,
ReplyDeleteJust want to let you know we're all thinking about you - so happy to hear Ronan had a good day. I also wanted to let you know I think this blog is a fantastic idea - I know from experience that trying to keep family and friends updated is draining in and of itself. This is a very positive approach to handling this trying time!
